Funeral services for Amanda Hinrichs, 86, Bennett, were held June 24, 1989 at Peace Church of Christ United, Bennett, with the Rev. Donald Gardella officiating. Ruth Riedesel was the organist and pallbearers were Warren Rixe, Ron Hinrichs, Leonard Schwitzer, Ralph Stuhr, Howard Stuhr and Richard Hein. Burial was in Inland cemetery at Bennett.
Mrs. Hinrichs died June 22 at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport.
The daughter of Louis and Alvina Boyens Stuehm, she was born June 25, 1902 in Sunbury. She attended the rural Cedar county schools and married Gustav A. Hinrichs Sept. 17, 1924 in Bennett.
Mrs. Hinrichs was a homemaker and a cook at the Bennett school. She was a lifetime resident of the Bennett area. She was a member of Peace Church of Christ United, the Women's Fellowship and a charter member of Bennett Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a son, Norman, Bennett. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
