Funeral services for Leola (Marker) Reed, 62, Fair Grove, Mo., were held in Klinger Chapel, Fair Grove, Mo. in May with the Rev. Lester Hamilton officiating. Burial was in the Springfield National cemetery.

Leola Reed died May 19 at her home in Fair Grove, Mo. following a long illness.

She was born in Tipton Nov. 3, 1926 and married Vernon Reed of Oklahoma in 1947.

Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Judith Young, Metropolis, Ill. and Sandra Tucker, Pleasant Hope, Mo.; 2 sons, Dale, Nixa, Mo. and Capt. Tommy, stationed at the US Air Force base in Ramstein, West Germany; a sister, Bueta Williams, Tipton; her mother, Vera Marker, Tipton and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, a sister and a brother.
