Funeral services for Eugene E. Schroeder, 55, Wilton, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 1989 at the Lacock Funeral Home in Wilton with Walter Martin officiating. There will be visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. June 14. Burial will be in the South Bethel cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Kaufmann, Jerry Morrison, Jesse James, Don Anderson Jr., Bobby Moore and Ray Schroeder Jr.

Mr. Schroeder died June 9 at his home in Wilton.

The son of Otto and Hilda Martin Schroeder, he was born July 2, 1933 in Cedar county. He married Mary Yeater in 1954 at Wilton and she preceded him in death. He then married June Anderson in 1986 in Muscatine.

Mr. Schroeder is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Laura) Coss, Jr., Moscow; a son, Michael A., West Liberty; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his mother, Hilda Schroeder, Atalissa; 3 sisters, Mae Christian, Nichols, Edna Morrison, Davenport and Darlene Davis, Central City; and a brother, Ray Jr., Little Rock, Ark.
