Last rites for Mrs. Gaylord (Gladys) Stuelke, 83, were held at the West Branch Chapel of the Barker Funeral Home April 26, 1989 with the Rev. Ralph Famer officiating. Burial was in Cedar Memorial cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Stuelke died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, April 21.

The daughter of Edwin and Dora Dain, she was born in Dysart Aug. 7, 1905 and was married to Gaylord Stuelke in Detroit Aug. 20, 1924. The couple lived in Council Bluffs until moving to West Branch in 1961.

She was a member of Juanita Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, West Branch.

Mrs. Stuelke is survived by her husband, 2 sons, David, Hot Springs, Ark. and Dr. Richard, West Branch; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
