Graveside family services for Mrs. Dellano (Lyle) Meek, 78, were held at the West Branch cemetery April 24 with the Rev. Mark J. Holmes officiating. Mrs. Meek died at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, April 21.

The daughter of Orville J. and Clara A. Jones Endicott, she was born in Dickens July 7, 1910. She married Dellano C. Meek in Ruthven Sept. 8, 1929.

Mrs. Meek was a retail buyer for Roshek's department store in Iowa City for several years.

The couple lived in the Springdale and West Branch areas before moving to Iowa City.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William (Roberta) Brown, West Branch; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and 2 brothers.
