Funeral services for Mrs. Anton (Minnie L.) Schroeder, 90, will be held at First United Church of Christ at 11 a.m. today (April 12) with the Rev. Robert Molsberry officiating. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers are Bob Wethington, Dean Moore, Carl Agne, Monte Gaul, Lee Heick and Verlon Weaver. Jim Schneider is vocalist and Betty Trevathan organist.
Mrs. Schroeder died at the Bethesda Care Center, Muscatine, April 8.
The daughter of Fred and Minnie DeMuth Schneider, she was born at West Liberty Jan. 29, 1899 and was educated in the rural schools of Muscatine county. She was married to Anton W. Schroeder at West Liberty Feb. 29, 1921. The couple farmed in the Cedar county area.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth, (Bud) Schroeder, Tipton; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Alma) Heick, West Liberty; 2 brother, Leroy and Fred Schneider, West Liberty and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 5 brothers, 4 sisters and a daughter.
