Funeral services for Norman S. Dauber, 67, retired farmer, were held at the Sheets and Son Funeral home Dec. 15 with the Rev. Susan Detwiler officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery, Mechanicsville. Pallbearers were Kenneth Ehler, Virgil Wegener, Harry Schott, Elmer Petersen, Norman Kotz and Charles Moffitt. Betty Trevathan was organist.

Mr. Dauber died at Cedar Manor Dec. 11.

The son of Daniel W. and Antonette Zinichek Dauber, he was born in Pioneer township Jan. 18, 1919. He attended the rural school at Cedar Valley. He was married to Selma Kortum at Iowa City April 2, 1941.

A lifetime resident of the Tipton area, he was a farmer.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Carroll (Sharon) Schlemmer, Omaha, Nebr. and Mrs. Merle (Nicki) Aikman, Tipton; 2 sons, Gail, Stanwood and Neal, Tipton and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
