December 17, 1986 - The Tipton Conservative

Final rites for Mrs. Oscar (Maurita M.) Glick, 75, were held at the United Methodist church Dec. 13 with Dr. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl Mathias, Robert Suchomel, Charles Albaugh, Harry Wehde Jr., Maurice Walton and Max Netolicky. Robert Fulwider was vocalist and Patty Niehuas was organist.

Mrs. Glick died at Cedar Manor Dec. 9.

The daughter of Ray and Edith Whittington Stahle, she was born at Cedar Rapids July 27, 1911. She graduated from West Liberty high school and Iowa State Teachers College.

She taught in several rural schools, at Downey, West Liberty, Boone and at Longfellow school, Iowa City.

She was married to Oscar Glick at Iowa City June 19, 1949. She was a member of the United Methodist church, the Tipton Federated Study club. King's Daughters and the Cass Township Homemakers.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. John (Sandra) Dill, Omaha, Nebr.; a son, Larry, Solon; 4 grandchildren; a sister, Arline Dolezal, Iowa City; 2 brothers, Roger Stahle, Lone Tree and Arlo Stahle, Pueblo, Colo. and several nieces and nephews.
