Last rites for Chauncey D. Pieper, 70, Finksburg, Md., were held recently. Mr. Pieper died at Carroll County General hospital Dec. 1.

The son of Chauncy and Lulu Kohl Pieper, he was born in Mechanicsville and was married to Helen Brown. A veteran of World War II, he had been an accountant. He was a member of the Sandy Mount United Methodist church and a Masonic lodge of Baltimore, MD.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Kevin D., Finksburg, Md.; a daughter, Karen L. Graham, Hanover, Pa.; a grandchild and a sister, Harmalene Fisher of California. Mrs. Pieper is the sister of Lawrence Brown of Tipton.
