10 December 1986 - The Tipton Conservative

Last rites for Paul E. Andre, 87, were held at the United Methodist church, Mechanicsville, Dec. 4 with the Rev. Jaymee Glenn Burns officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were Kirk Sadlek, Kenneth Andre, Vernon Phillips, David and Dennis Youngblut and Steven Gangloff. Mrs. Calvin Robinson was organist.

Mr. Andre died at the Mechanicsville Care center Dec. 1.

The son of Clarence and Ida Ferguson Andre, he was born in Jones county Oct. 13, 1899. He was married to Mildred Vincent Sept. 8, 1945. After her death he married Bessie Lehr Nov. 12, 1958.

He farmed in the Mechanicsville until moving to Mechanicsville in 1961. He spent the winter in Phoenix, Ariz. He was a member of the United Methodist church.

He is survived by his wife, a half-sister, Mrs. Leo (Lucille) Youngblut, Lisbon; 3 step-daughters, Doris Bingham, Marion; Ellen Moore, Tipton and Phyllis Wiedenhoff, Farmsersburg and numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a half-sister and a half-brother.
