Final rites for Mrs. Earl (Jessie L.) Anderson, 74, were held at the Sheets and Son Funeral Home Dec. 4 with the Rev. Cleon Ferguson and the Rev. Verle Nitzel officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Dean Anderson, Dean and Darrell Hubler, Roger Regennitter, Brad Gaul and Alan Dohmen.

Mrs. Anderson died at her home Dec. 1.

The daughter of Forrest Lee and Elizabeth Rixe Wagner, she was born near Tipton July 4, 1912 and was educated in the rural Cedar county schools. She was married to Earl G. Anderson Feb. 23, 1937.

She is survived by her husband; 3 daughters, Mrs. John (Rose Marie) Kau, Salem, Ore.; Mrs. Charles (Susan Ann) Whetstine, Solon and Mrs. Gary (Betty Jean) Hubler, Buchanan; a son, Jim, Tipton; a brother, Erwin Wagner, Mechanicville and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons and 2 brothers.
