Funeral services for Harry Hertzler, 62, Springville were held Sept. 29 at Morgan Funeral home, Mt. Vernon, the Rev. Edward Wolfe officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Vernon cemetery.

Pallbearers were Donald Gottschalk, Robert Gottschalk, Roy Bowman, Harry Lange, Claude Hoppe and Brad McCullough.

Mr. Hertzler died at his home Sept. 26. He was born Nov. 3, 1913 and married Geraldine (Gerry) Rowald, May 20, 1939. He is survived by his wife, a son, Ronald (Herb) and 2 grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents and a twin brother, Herbert.

Mr. Hertzler operated Lowden Produce at one time and moved from Lowden in 1962. He had been employed as a maintenance man at McDonald's in Cedar Rapids the last 8 years.
