Last rites for Joseph Lang, 87, Wilton, were held in Wilton Feb. 12 with burial in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton. Mr. Lang died at the Wilton Nursing home, Feb. 10.

The son of Henry and Ellen Wagner Lang, he was born in Wilton July 28, 1887 and lived in the Wilton area all of his life. He was married to Clara Hahn at Moscow, April 16, 1913.

A farmer, he was a long-time Farm Bureau member and a Sunday school teacher at Peace United Methodist church, Wilton, for 50 years.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Jordan, Adel and Beulah Lang, Wilton and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
