Funeral services for Richard (Rick) Cooling, 31, were held at the Wilton Methodist church Nov. 3 with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery. Pallbearers were Mark Mays, Steve Kraklio, Don Wathan, John Kuster, Tom Caes and Curt Pahl. Honorary pallbearers were Russ Price and Stan Reinemund.

Cooling died as a result of the collapse of a grain elevator in Durant Oct. 31.

The son of Louis and Florence Laucamp Cooling, he was born at Durant July 22, 1955. He graduated from Durant high school in 1973 and was a veteran of navy service. He was employed as an operator at the Treimer Grain & Storage Co., Durant.

He is survived by his father, Louis Cooling and his mother, Florence Cooling, both of Wilton; a brother, Barry, Wilton; 3 sisters, Lynn Cooling, Tustin, Calif.; Mrs. James (LuAnn) Shipp, Muscatine and Lora Cooling, Wilton.
