Funeral services for Rollie W. Wright, 88, retired farmer, were held at the United Methodist church Nov. 3 with Dr. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold and Willard Eiler, Forest E. Willer and Alvin, Stanley and Lester Wright. Honorary pallbearers were Roger, James and Douglas Wright.

Mr. Wright died at Cedar Manor Oct. 31.

The son of Marshall and Vina B. Jackson Wright, he was born at Morehead, Ky. June 2, 1898. He was educated in the rural schools of Round county, Ky. He came to the Tipton area in 1916 and was married to Vera L. Willer at Cedar Rapids July 12, 1921.

The couple farmed near Tipton until 1955 when they moved to Tipton. He was a member of the First United Methodist church.

He is survived by 2 sons, Lawrence, Bennett and Paul, Tipton; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Charlie, Tipton and Clayton, Bennett and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, 3 sisters, 3 brothers and a son.
