Last rites for Mrs. James (Edna K.) Murrison, 79, were held at the Sheets and Son Funeral home Oct. 25 with Dr. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton. Pallbearers were Vernon and Roger Regennitter, Homer Herron, Sieg Petersen, John Hammerich and Kenny Horstmann. Betty Trevathan was organist.

Mrs. Murrison died at University hospitals, Iowa City, Oct. 22.

The daughter of Theodore and Frieda Ott Giebelstein, she was born near New Liberty Dec. 21, 1906. She was married to James J. Murrison at Cedar Rapids Nov. 1, 1938. A former Bennett and Moline, Ill. resident, she had lived in Tipton for 4 years.

She is survived by a son, Richard, East Moline, Ill. and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a grandson.
