Graveside services for Earl Tatum Heald, 67, Point, Texas, a native of Tipton, were held at the West Branch cemetery Oct. 12 with the Rev. Charles A. Mehaffey officiating. Mr. Heald died at Greenville, Texas Oct. 2.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Heald, he was born at Tipton March 29, 1919. He was married to Gladys Brown May 30, 1940. He was a veteran of navy service and a retired electronics engineer. He was a member of the West Branch Friends church.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys, Point, Texas; 2 daughters, Pamela Boswell and Melanie Jack, both of California and 5 grandchildren.
