Funeral services for Mrs. Rudolph (Malinda M.) Strunk, 83, were held at Durant Oct. 21 with the Rev. Glen Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery. Pallbearers were Clarence and Kenneth Lamp, Melvin Schade, Elmer Strunk, Lowell Wulf and Clyde Huston.

Mrs. Strunk died at Mercy hospital, Davenport Oct. 18.

The daughter of John and Mary Wulf Beck, she was born at Durant Dec. 20, 1902. She was married to Rudolph Strunk at Muscatine Dec. 21, 1920. The couple had farmed in the Durant area.

She is survived by a daughter, Mildred Reeves, Davenport. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1951, a grandson, a brother and a sister.
