Funeral services for Edwin Frick, 69, Bennett, were held July 26 at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence, with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Flower attendants were Jean Wiese and Joyce Brus. Pallbearers were Roger Wiese, James Brus, Earl Friederichs, Tom Treadwell, Eugene Mayerhofer and William Wuestenberg. Burial was in the Inland cemetery, Bennett.
Mr. Frick died July 23 at Mercy hospital in Davenport.
The son of Henry and Helen Untiedt Frick, he was born Feb. 15, 1917, in Scott county. He married Marian Vilmont Feb. 26, 1938 in Davenport.
He had resided in Bennett for the past 10 years and was a farmer and trucker.
Mr. Frick is survived by his wife; 3 daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marilyn) Jordan, Nashua; Mrs. Carl (Barbara) Van Den Berghe, New Liberty and Corrine (Connie) Frick, Davenport; a son, Roger Frick, Waterville; 9 grandchildren;; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 9 step great-grandchildren; a brother, Harvey, Billings, Mont.; a sister, Arlene Cole, Davenport; a stepbrother, Donald Frick, Maquoketa and 3 half-sisters, Phillias Frick, Des Moines, Gloria Ferguson, Moline, Ill. and Mrs. Allen (Jane) Moeller, Walcott.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
