Funeral services for Louis Unruh, 90, Mechanicsville, were held June 23 at the United Methodist church in Mechanicsville, with burial in the Elmwood cemetery in DeWitt.

Mr. Unruh died June 20 at the Mechanicsville Care Center following a lengthy illness.

He is survived by 5 daughters, Maxine Kniffen, Delores Truhlar and Lorraine Unruh, all of Cedar Rapids; Naomi Sell, Olin and Joyce Miller, Mechanicsville; 6 sons, Lawrence, Glen, Fay and Clair, all of Cedar Rapids; Ray, Tipton and Henry, Lisbon; 2 brothers, Theodore, Austin, Minn. and Fritz, Charlotte; 38 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
