Funeral services for Clara Freese, 90, Tipton, were held June 12 at the United Methodist church in Tipton, with the Rev. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial was in the Oakland cemetery in Manchester.

Mrs. Freese died June 9 at the Delaware County Memorial hospital in Manchester.

The daughter of Theodore W. and Anna Schult Heyden, she was born Oct. 1, 1895 in Cedar county. She married Claude Eberhart Dec. 18, 1915. She married Hans Freese May 6, 1954 in Manchester and she resided in Tipton until February 1986. For the past 4 months she lived with a daughter in Manchester.

Mrs. Freese is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Helen) Heyer, Manchester; 2 sons, Francis Eberhart, Memphis, Tenn. and Marvin Eberhart, Chicago, Ill.; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands, a son, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
