Private family services for Mrs. Howard (Margaret) Schilling, 56, will be held at Davenport Memorial park at 11 a.m. today (May 28). The Runge Mortuary, Davenport, is in charge. Mrs. Schilling died at University hospitals, Iowa City, May 25.

The daughter of Herman and Helen McCabe Uhde, she was born April 2, 1930, in Davenport.

Margaret Uhde married Harold Duncan in Davenport in 1949. He died in 1954. She married Howard (Hod) Schilling in Phoenix, Ariz. in 1957. She was employed at Wabash, Inc. and was a member of the Moose Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, 3 daughters, Mrs. Peter (Robin) Scott and Chris Schilling, Iowa City and Mrs. Jerry (Theresa) Oakley, Tipton; 2 sons, Barry Duncan, Dallas, Texas and Mark Schilling, with the US Navy in San Diego, Calif. 4 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Glen (Ruth) Buttgen, Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Herman (Kay) Alter, Bettendorf and Mrs. Walter (Irma) Norivek, Geneseo, Ill. and 2 brothers, Bud Uhde, Davenport and Norman Uhde, East Moline.
