Funeral services for Glenn Speight, 90, were held at the West Branch United Methodist church April 28 with the Rev. Samuel J. Hahn officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery. Pallbearers were Kent Speight, W. B. Parrish, Joe Belle and Barry, Dean and Rick Anderson.

Mr. Speight died at his home in West Branch April 24.

The son of Alfred and Belle Dixon Speight, he was born at West Branch May 29, 1895. He was married to Mildred Weatherell in Lisbon Sept. 19, 1919. A retired farmer, he was later employed as a carpenter by the Paulson Lumber Co.

He was a member of the United Methodist church and Wapsinonoc Lodge No. 361, AF&AM.

He is survived by a son, Paul, Madison, Wis.; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Florence Meyer, Iowa City. His wife preceded him in death in 1972.
