Funeral services for Edward L. (Eddie) Johnson II, 31, were held at the First United Methodist church April 19 with Dr. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Phelps, John Mogle, Joel Belitz, Mark Fredericks, Mike Hamann and Kevin Laing. Sylvia Gould was organist.

Mr. Johnson was killed in an auto accident April 16.

The son of Edward (Lee) and Ramona Logsden Johnson, he was born in Tacoma, Wash. Oct. 19, 1954. He graduated from Tipton high school in 1972 and was an auto mechanic employed at Cedar County Tire. He married Anna (Florence) Obermier in Stanwood Aug. 10, 1975.

He is survived by a daughter, Tawnya; a son, Matthew, Norwalk, Conn.; his parents; a sister, Nyla Logsden, Iowa City; 2 brothers, John, in the armed forces in Germany and Ron, Iowa City and several nieces and nephews.
