Funeral services for Robert F. Rupe, 82, Bennett, were held at Davenport April 18 with burial in Pine Hill cemetery, Davenport. Mr. Rupe died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, April 15.

He was born at Mystic March 17, 1904. He was married to Letha Strode at Centerville Dec. 8, 1924.

Mr. Rupe worked for construction companies prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Bennett Senior Citizens.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Horstmann, Bennett; a son, Robert J. Rupe, Davenport; 5 grandsons, 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Eva Wilder, Everett, Wash. and 2 brothers, Paul, Marshall, Ark. and Allen, Everett, Wash.
