Mass of the Resurrection for Mrs. Lucy Rothmeyer, 83, of Carroll, was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Church in Maple River by the Rev. Richard Birdsall. Also in the sanctuary were the Rev. C. A. Ahmann of Arcadia, the Rev. Henry Meyer and the Rev. Bruce LeFebvre of Dedham.

Pallbearers were Richard Rothmeyer, Ronald Rothmeyer, Jim Rothmeyer, Clarence Rothmeyer Jr., Brian Price and Joe Reis. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. The Twit Funeral Home in Carroll was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rothmeyer died June 4 at the St. Anthony Nursing Home after a seven-month illness.

Relatives and friends attended the funeral from Omaha, Iowa City, Ft. Dodge, Coon Rapids, Glidden, Ria Vista, Calif., Decorah, LaMont, Ill., Rockford Ill., Waukeska, Wis., Wacoma, St. Anthony, Marion, Des Moines, Adair, Ames, Storm Lake, Spencer, Westside, Willey, Dedham, Calmar, Minneapolis, Minn., Perry, Carroll and surrounding towns.

Among Mrs. Rothmeyer's surviving children is Mrs. Norma (Verna) Price of Storm Lake, whose named was misspelled in the story published June 5.
