WALL LAKE - William Dozark, 82, of Wall Lake died Saturday afternoon, Jan. 1, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital, Denison.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church, Wall Lake, with the Rev. Richard H. Nagler officiating. Burial will be in the Wall Lake Cemetery, under direction of the Farber and Otteman Funeral Home of Wall Lake.

Pallbearers will be Lyle Kropf, Russell Lee Wescott, Glen Nissen, Lowell Koch, Donald Neuman and Virgil Dozark. Roland Erickson will be organist; a quartet composed of Mrs. Jack Nuetzman, Mrs. Orville Herrig, Leland Weitzel and Jack Stickrod will sing.

Mr. Dozark, son of Frank and Katherine Schupitar Dozark, was born in Jackson township, Crawford County, May 29, 1889.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; a son, Melvin, of Vail; two grandsons, one great-grandson; two brothers, Frank Dozark of Denison and James Dozark, formerly of Vail and now residing at Twilight Acres nursing home, Wall Lake; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Christensen of Denison. Two brothers, Andrew and Joseph, preceded him in death.

Mr. Dozark was employed for many years by the Crawford County road maintenance department and also by the Wall Lake Popcorn Company. For the past five years, until his illness, he was employed by the town of Wall Lake.
