My gr grandfather lost his parents at a very young age per his obituary. He was Mathias Lutgen in Iowa. A document stated that his parents were Frantz Lutgen and Susnanna Wolf. Frantz came to America on the same ship as a Susan Wolf. In 1862 Frantz has enlisted in the Civil War from Dubuque Iowa and was a prisoner of war at Andersonville and died and was buried there. Does anyone know about Susan Wolf.? or Frantz's family? Mathias was named as heir to Frantz's pension.
