My grandfather was Edward Winther. He came to the Council Bluffs/Omaha area in December of 1907 and his brothers Soren and Thorvald were already here. He was from Aarhus, Denmark. He lived in Webster City and the Williams, Iowa area before moving to Minnesota. He left home at 17 after a family spat, and never would tell us about the family in Denmark or much else. Can you direct me to anyone else doing Winther research? Thanks.
