Thank you so much for your quick reply! David and Sarah Acker are my paternal great grandparents. Their daughter Mary Agnes was my grandmother. I know that while she was still a young child, she and her two younger brothers Joseph and Albert were adopted out. Those records are sealed so I don't have a date or a reason why the youngest 3 children would have been given away. I do know the family who adopted her and her brothers and their marriages. I knew that Sarah married twice but didn't know about the divorce or the date and place of her death! How do I go about getting the details and references you referred to?
