David Acker remains elusive. He was found on 1870, 1880 and 1885 census databases but not thereafter, He was not found on a quick search of major cemetery databases. His wife remarried twice. Once to David Mishler in 1888 but divorced by 1891 then to John K. Miller. Sarah died in Black Hawk county in 1929. Sarah son's George married Mary Huff. 1n 1904. Lucinda married Benjamin Heskell 01 Jan 1894. Details and references are available.
