Hello,
Thanks to the UIowa Digital archives which had some articles about the POW camp I am convinced that was not where we lived. The tent camp that was there was south toward Janesville. My compass directions are way off as I am now certain we lived near railroad tracks on the West side that are no longer there.

I know that I walked to kindergarten which was in the basement of a larger school(Waverly High?) I do know we had a large shed filled with market pigs along the tracks.
