Hill children

AMOS JOHN HILL, RUTH ANN HILL, CHARLES HILL AND FRANK HILL

I am trying to locate parents of Amos Hill and siblings; they were born in Indiana and are on the 1870 census in Porter Co. Then in 1880 the children show up in Boone Co., Iowa as servants on farms owned by the Wheelers. Their parents were Sophia and Nathan Hill; I can not find any death or court records showing how the children came to be in Iowa without parents.
