Edna Louise Wood of Ogden passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the age of 87 surrounded by loving family.

Edna was born in her grandmother's home in Lorimor, Iowa on June 3, 1924 to Henry and Martha Berry. After graduating from Lorimor High School, she moved to California. She was an Ogden resident for 35 years and retired as kitchen supervisor at the Boone County Care Facility.

Edna's greatest joy in life was her family as well as spending time with her dear friend, Sue Anthoney of Ogden. She is survived by her daughter, Glenna Allen and husband Denny of Rockwall, TX, stepson Ronnie Gray of Reno, NV, grandchildren Eric (Amy) Allen of Batavia, IL, Lauren Allen of Plano, TX, Lindsey Allen of Rockwall, TX, Sunny Allen of Bainbridge Island, WA, and Cindy (Jeff) Kennedy of Beaumont, CA, great grandchildren Baylea, Aaron and Charlotte Allen, Chelsea and Michael Kennedy, nieces Glenna Louise Munson, Donna Sloan Christensen, Janet Loots and Diane Daniels, nephews Dale Baker and Roger DeVries and many great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
