Shirley Elaine Snider, 80, of Boone, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone.

Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, January 13, in the Chapel of the Eastern Star Masonic Home in Boone.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 12, at Walter ~Schroeder Funeral Home, Fifth & Story Streets in Boone, from 2 to 8 p.m., with family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in memory of Shirley Elaine Snider for the Companion Animal Fund, ISU College of Veterinary Medicine in Ames.
