From what I could locate for you it was from 1894 or 1895 to January, 1919. According to Werner Strippel's obituary he arrived in Vinton in 1894 and went into business with Mr. Ethel Young. On June 28, 1899 in Vinton, Werner Strippel married Mollie Young whose brother, Ethel Freeman "E. F." Young he was in business with until 1919.

The firm of Strippel & Young has been dissolved by mutual consent. Mr. Young having purchased the stock of goods from his partner. For a number of years the Strippel & Young furniture and undertaking rooms have been among the best known in this part of the state. Mr. Strippel is interested in the canning factories in Waverly and Clarksville and will devote his time to looking after them and to taking a rest.
