Charles Petersen, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Peter K. Petersen, of this city
had the index finger of his left
hand cut off and both hands badly
cut when the corn shredder, which
he was using in filling a silo on the
Hans Anderson farm, went to pieces.
One piece of the fly wheel went
through the barn, severing a two-by-six
timber. No one else was hurt.Note: Parents of Charles Nels Petersen were Peter Kjeldsen Petersen and Jakobine Christine Sorine. Charles was married to Egedia Marie Andersen.
