Henry Beck, the youngest son
of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Beck, of
west of town (Exira), was seriously injured
in a peculiar manner last Friday.
He had taken a horse to the watering
tank, when the bridle strap
caught on the hydrant and broke,
striking him in the face. A bone
in his nose was broken and his face
was badly cut. He is reported to
be resting easy now, although he
suffered severely for several days.Note: Parents of Henry Frederick Beck were Fred Larsen Beck and Anna Christensen. Henry was married to Evelyn Louise Essington
