PETER MCCOY, farmer, Sec. 14; P.O. Centerville; born April 17, 1837, in Monroe Co., Ohio; in 1849 came to Appanoose Co.; owns 324 acres of land. Has been President of the School Board and Township Trustee. Married Nancy J. Fitzgerald in March 1860; she was born in 1840 in Missouri; have five children - Charles, Sarah Ann, Amos, Evaline and Edith.
