DIED AT CAMP DODGE
from the New Albin News: PVT A.F. Wiemerslage

Albert F., son of Mr. and Mrs. F.F. Wm Wiemerslage, was born in Union City township on December 21, 1896.

He grew to manhood there and on Sept. 5, 1918, he heeded his country's call and joined the army at Camp Dodge. Shortly after he contracted Spanish Influenza, and in spite of all that medical aid and parental care and affection could do, he passed away on Oct. 12, 1918.

The remains were brot here in charge of Corporal Moser of the United States army, and burial was made in the Wheatland cemetery on Oct. 17.

He leaves to mourn his departure, the parents, one sister and three brothers and a wide circle of relatives and friends.
