Richard Francis Souhrada was born May 12, 1923 to John and Olga Veronica Prochazka Souhrada. He died Jan. 2, 1945 and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lime Springs, IA.
2nd Lt. Souhrada served in World War II as a pilot with the U.S. Army Air Corps 80th Fighter Squadron and was KIA on Mindoro Island in the Philippines.
