Wolf Valley School No. 3

Riley Township

Ringgold County Rural School Notes
From the Mount Ayr Record News, October 22, 1931

Ada V. RICHARDSON, teacher

On Valentine day we had Valentine box and a wiener roast.

We celebrated the birthdays of two of our pupils, Ray PYLE’s, February 13, and Ardis RICHARDSON’s February 14th.

We had our wiener roast in Claud SHIELDS’ pasture. Mrs. Claud SHIELDS and children and Mrs. Tom SHIELDS were guests.

Those who have been neither absent nor tardy are Cleora LEEPER, Marvin LEEPER and Ray PYLE.

Our visitors this year are Miss DOLECHECK, Crystal RICHARDSON, Louise BURCHETT, Jean MORGAN, Marie LEEPER, Viona SICKELS, Robert RICHARDSON and Wayne RICHARDSON.

The fifth, sixth and seventh grades are making geography booklets.

Our first grade is progressing steadily in writing.

We have been making health booklets. Our windows are decorated with hyacinths, cherries and hatchets.

Thank You for stopping by!
