LIBERTY - May TRULLINGER closed a successful term of school at Side Hill last Friday. The spring term commenced Monday with Blanche RICHARDS as teacher.

RURAL SCHOOL NOTES: Liberty No. 4 - We elected Citizenship club officers Rena Walters, president; H. L. Lorimer, vice president; Claire Foltz, secretary; and Mary Louise Lorimer, treasurer.
Mrs. Elgin BISBEY was the teacher at Side Hill school for the year 1954-55.

Due to the fact that Side Hill Liberty No. 4 school in Ringgold county, Iowa, will no longer exist as a school, all former pupils, teachers, patrons and families are invited to attend a homecoming to be held Sunday, August 16, at the schoolhouse.

Side Hill School was located three miles north of Mount Ayr on Highway 169. The building was demolished in 2004.
