DIAGONAL - At a school meeting held Saturday, teachers for the coming year were elected as follows: Principal, Mr. O'NIEL, of Weldon; assistant principal, Ima RUBY; grammar room, Mary MAXWELL; intermediate, Alice MAXWELL; first primary, Bessie LEPLEY. Mr. QUINN, who has been president of the board since the spring election, resigned on account of his leaving for California, and Dr. L. F. TALLEY was elected temporary president.
