KEPLINGER WINS ELECTION
A[dam] B. KEPLINGER won the position of mayor by two votes. There was one spoiled ballott. If
that ballot had been counted, Mr. KEPLINGER would have won by one vote.
NOTE: Adam Bible KEPLINGER, the son of George (1812-1866) and Elizabeth (CHAPLIN) (1820-1860, was born
in Kosciusko, Indiana on March 10, 1852. He married 1st on December 8, 1887, Bedford, Iowa, to Hattie LEWIS (1862-1984).
He married 2nd September 1, 1909, Blockton, Iowa to Amy Myrtle SIEMILLER (1881-1968), the daughter of
Henry SIEMILLER.
Adam was a banker, store owner, and a gardener. He died at the age of 105 in June of 1957, Maloy, Ringgold County, Iowa
