31 years with road department
A retirement party was held for Morris Carpenter of Mount Ayr after 31 years of service with the Ringgold county secondary roads department.
Carpenter was awarded with a plaque with a maintainer model on it by the county and a plaque from the union for his years of service.County officials
and fellow workers had a lunch and cake with Carpenter and his wife at the county road maintenance building.
