NEWS AMONG OUR NEIGHBORS

Will G. GALLOWAY, a former resident of Shannon City, and at one time assistant cashier of the bank there,
and later cashier of the bank at Tingley, was killed in a mine accident at Cripple Creek, Colo.
F. M. CARNAHAN, whose home is three and one-half miles southwest of Mt. Ayr, is dead as a result of a stroke
of apoplexy, suffered two weeks ago. He was 69 years of age and leaves a wife and seven children. He was a prominent
farmer of the county.
