For the fourth nine weeks of the 1964-65 school year, 112 students of the Mount Ayr Community High School were named to the scholastic honor roll.
The voters of Redding, at a special election held Friday, unanimously approved the granting of an electric franchise to the Iowa Southern Utilities Company
for a period of 25 years. Sixty-seven residents, nearly all the qualified voters in the town, cast ballots - all in favor of the proposal.
Jennie BLACK, of Mount Ayr, who was selected as Ringgold County's dairy princess in competition, which followed the dairy show, will represent
the county in the State Dairy Princess Contest to be held in October in Cedar Rapids.
