The fifth annual Beggar's Bash drew a crowd of over 800 to Judge Lewis Park in Mount Ayr Saturday night.

A surprisingly easy victory was rolled over the Corning Red Raiders when they visited for the parents night football game Friday. The Raiders rolled to a 38-0 victory in their home season finale, moving them into a tie for second in the Class 1A District 8 play with a 3-2 district record and a 4-3 record overall.
