A series of school board meetings over the past week have led to the hiring of a new elementary principal. Named to the position was Lynne Wallace of Bedford, who has been elementary principal for the Bedford Community school district.

A VSA Arts of Iowa artist spent time working with stained glass projects with students in the Clearfield and Diagonal Community school districts recently.
